 The Politics of Oil -- see the difference in prices


- Russia's primary Urals crude oil is trading at an average price of roughly $56–$70 per barrel while Iran heavy crude is around $63.25 per barrel, according to reports on OPEC oil prices. 

- Brent has been highly volatile, fluctuating near $95-$98 per barrel following a de-escalation in US-Iran tensions. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil futures for May are trading around $96–$97 per barrel.
